The Berlin-Brandenburg School for Regenerative Therapies (BSRT, graduate school 203 of the German Excellence Initiative) offers interdisciplinary training and research opportunities in the field of Regenerative Medicine for outstanding doctoral and postdoctoral researchers with a background in the biological, engineering or clinical disciplines. Young scientists at the BSRT benefit from our worldwide unique approach to foster collaborative science (BioThinking) and work within a strong and intellectually stimulating network of institutions and scientists.

  Graduation - Congratulation
Maria Schneider, who was BSRT student at the Insitut for Medical Immunology defended her thesis on the 14 Februray 2019. Her thesis was entitled "Impact of cryopreservation on immune responses to tissue matrices and options for intervention".


  Winners of the BSRT Student Award 2018
Dimitrios L. Wagner who is doing his MD/PhD at the the Charité is the winner of the PhD Student Award 2018 for his publication on "High prevalence of Streptococcus pyogenes Cas9-reactive T cells within the adult human population" in Nature Medicine [Pubmed]. Regina Puts and Paul Rikeit jointly won second the price and Ann-Kathrin Schubert the third price. Click here for winners


  Graduation - Congratulation
Christopher Differ, who was BSRT student at the Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies defended his thesis on the 26 November 2018. His thesis was entitled "Taking NO for an answer: An investigation on the modulatory effects of the Nitric Oxide pathway on Bone Morphogenic Protein 2 signalling and osteoinductive potential".
